Beginner Spinning

Had the great honor of taking a Beginners Spinning class with Karie and some wonderful ladies – Molly, Linda, Elizabeth and Karie (my best friend) - in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Black River Falls is about 3 – 3 ½ hours North of where we currently live. Deb at the Fiber Garden instructed the class for five of us and it was so much fun.

We had the opportunity to spin, watch some dying, blend some fiber on the drum carder and share a common interest with like minded people.

So many classes are one day or part of a day. This class started on Friday evening and finished up on Sunday afternoon so we could head home. Having the extra hours for practice was very helpful. You sort of learn something – can or cannot do it easily – given the extra time it all of a sudden falls into place and it begins to make sense.
